    What a great way to bring in the holidays! First start off the season with a Light Parade in Grantsville City the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  This fun and unique parade starts at 6:00 pm on Main Street, a great tradition to do with the family! Afterward enjoy a visit with Santa and a treat at the Firestation.

    Bring the kids young and old and come enjoy the Santa Parade the first Saturday of December!  The parade starts at 10 am on Vine Street in Tooele City and ends at the Tooele Technical College where you can enjoy cookies and hot chocolate after visiting Santa.

    Purpose

    Work on this committee begins in June to obtain the event permit from Tooele City and gather the required signatures from property owners. The committee will secure a venue, arrange transportation for Santa, recruit volunteers, get coloring books printed, find sponsors, decorate the Chamber float, and arrange for indoor storage of the float, etc.

    Anticipated Time Commitment

    2 hours in June; Planning – 1 hour per month Oct – Dec; 5+ hours the day of the event.
